the site for this project was typical of an Eastern Portland 200 x 300‘ block and the objective was to design 86 units with a minimum of 70% parking.

For my design, I wanted to create a denser community in the south block and make it less dense on the north block. I wanted to create as many outdoor spaces as possible.

All the units I created are made of 20 x 20 or 20 x 40 modules which can be combined with each other in different ways to create more flexibility for the units and give households the ability to choose one that works for them while maintaining a low construction cost due to the repetition and the familiar plans to the contractor
